Well, we could post lots of of pictures like that. 1993 – Tony August, a man with connections to the Atlantic City casino industry, writes to Bill Clinton. In the letter, August mentions Trump and writes: “…if you two don’t know each other you should. You have much in common, age, broad vision for the future and most importantly, the resources and desire to make America bigger and better than it already is.” 1999 – Bill Clinton appoints Maryanne Trump Barry (Trump’s sister) to be a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. The appointment is to replace Judge H. Lee Sarokin, who had retired in 1996. 2000 – Jared Kushner (Donald’s son-in-law; Ivanka’s husband) contributes $1,000 to the Hillary Rodham Clinton for US Senate campaign. 2000 – Bill and Hillary Clinton Clinton meet with Trump in New York at Trump Tower for a real estate “photo opportunity.” 2002 – Donald Trump donates $1,000 to Hillary Clinton’s New York Senate campaign. 2003 – Jared Kushner contributes $2,000 to Friends of Hillary. 2005 – The Trump Organization contributes $1,000 to Friends of Hillary; Donald Trump donates $2,900 to Hillary Clinton’s re-election campaign for US Senate. 2005 – Bill and Hillary Clinton attend Donald Trump and Melania Knauss’ wedding. 2006 – Donald Trump contributes $1,000 to Hillary Clinton’s re-election campaign for US Senate and $200 to Friends of Hillary; Trump Enterprises contributes $2,100 to Friends of Hillary. 2006 – Ivanka Trump contributes $2,300 to Hillary Clinton for President campaign fund. 2007 – Trump Enterprises contributes $4,000 to Hillary Clinton for President campaign fund; Donald Trump donates $1,000 to Hillary Clinton’s re-election campaign for US Senate. 2008 – Bill Clinton and Donald Trump golf together at Joe Torre’s charity event, the Safe at Home Foundation Golf Classic at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, New York. 2008 – Chelsea Clinton and Jared Kushner attend the annual New York Gala for American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (Kushner is a co-chair of the organization). 2009 – the Donald J. Trump Foundation donates $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. 2010 – Trump’s foundation, a registered 501(c) group, gave another $10,000 to the Clinton Foundation. 2015 – Chelsea Clinton praises her friend Ivanka Trump in a feature interview for Vogue. I accept all that! I think Trump as a shrewd businessman was keen on staying close to people in power. But there are obvious differences. The Clintons were strong believers in military intervention abroad, to the extent that a lot of people were worried Hillary would drag the world into a World War Three. Trump kept America more or less out of military interventions, with a few exceptions. The Clintons were massively pro-choice while Trump put two pro-life judges on the Supreme Court, defunded Planned Parenthood, and set up the Geneva Consensus Declaration on abortion. Surely these are real differences?

For those who disavow democracy, in what way would their usual alternatives of Monarchy or Dictatorship be any less controlling? In fact, they would be infinitely more controlling, as in the case of the former it's all about mere bloodlines irrespective of intelligence or ability, and in the latter it's either family or cronyism or both usually combined with violence on demand.
The Establishment becomes even more established in those set-ups.

So for something not to be "controlled opposition" everything would have to be torn down and a whole political and social system would have to be built from scratch? As for parties echoing each other, or offering limited alternatives, that's just the nature of reality given that each party or individual has to deal with the same issues that quite often have only a finite number of possible solutions. "So for something not to be "controlled opposition" everything would have to be torn down and a whole political and social system would have to be built from scratch?" I did say that "Gript is just another Neocon (Liberal) outlet that just happens to be in Ireland. I say its controlled as it is ideology is very much the mainstream and looks like a copy & paste from the USA. I have heard interesting thing about the funding, but cant confirm yet.

I'm highlighting that we do not have a choice and the different political "options" are different sides of the materialist coin. I'm not a democrat, you can keep your vote. I understand you're not a democrat. But my question is more, if democracy doesn't offer a real choice, what sort of system would offer a real choice? Or do you think this shouldn't a criterion when it comes to a political system? Do you have a choice for your Bishop? Do you have a choice for your Biological father or Mother? No, well that's how I feel about my leader. Of course if we are talking about a local issue It will probably be a different story.

You're not really answering the question of what a viable alternative is, and whispering about funding is just standard conspiracy-theory manoeuvring.

Is that why there were endless schisms, bloodlettings, anti-popes, Avignon, monarchical feuds, revolutions, etc etc all culminating in the overthrow of Monarchy and a politically empowered church? There was never any golden age.

This website is a viable alternative, a Legion of Mary meeting, Irish class, protest movement, etc. I can't verify claims that gript.ie gets funded by some Neocons and pro-Isreal lobbyists. Calling me or my claim a conspiracy theory is an indicator you have been listening to the mainstream media talking points for too long.

No, it's a sign that I can think for myself, and that however much I dislike the mainstream media agenda, the alternative line being pushed is frequently, if not usually, no less full of garbage.

The high middle ages weren't to bad At least society was ordered correctly unlike today or the last couple hundred years (degeneracy takes a while).

As for being pro-Israel, surely the Irish establishment and media is hugely anti-Israel? So that would set them apart, at any rate. I'm inclined to be pro-Israel myself, but I haven't really studied the situation in enough depth and it seems quite complicated.

Why use the word conspiracy theory then? why not say show me the evidence? Which I said in the beginning. I do not have have a clue how to find out these claims! Are you still holding its a conspiracy theory that Gript gets funding from Neocons and pro-Isreal lobbyists?

Are you still holding its a conspiracy theory that Gript gets funding from Neocons and pro-Isreal lobbyists? Are you claiming you can prove it? If not, then why even raise it except to somehow "prove" it's a front for something else. And what if your mystery men are pro-Israel? So what?

That vast majority of media & politicians are pro-Israel particularly in the USA. Gript.ie challenges the mainstream consensus as much as fox news does. I'm pro the Kingdom of Jerusalem
