Every single day President Trump is proven correct in his claim that the mainstream media is irredeemably corrupt. This hateful piece of misandry was written by a married man, and published in the New York Times.
Where do you even begin when vile cr#p like this is considered serious journalism? And this is what our boys are hearing about masculinity:

The traditional Christian concept of masculinity is the only solution to this. The 2016 election is evidence that there is a hankering for a return to this great buried treasure.

I find the phrase "the brutality of male libido" so misplaced because male libido is not brutish in and of itself, and I take offense at the idea that my husband, sons, or male friends are necessarily brutish because they are male. People can be brutish, male and female, and both can use their sexuality in different ways to gain power over others.
I think the better question is, "who the heck raised these people to have no respect for the dignity of others?" That failure to teach children to respect the dignity of others so that they can become responsible and responsive adults is a far greater cause of sexual abuse than any "innate" brutality that the author describes.
