May I once more play a tired old tune I've played before: I like and respect this forum and the people here. I think it is very important and I want to support it. But I am just finding everything too, too much right now to participate. Still, I hope nobody will mind too much if I do the self-promotion thing once again and offer my latest video, which has been an important turning point for me, personally: Roger old tunes are usually the best. Look forward to watching your video. August is a good time to get some rest ,if you can.

But here is another one now . . . Or as I put it on Facebook: Why the great Hilaire Belloc would be shocked by Taylor Marshall suggesting that the Superiors of the FSSP and ICKSP are, in effect, cowards. ALSO: A tribute to and defence of the great Institute of Christ the King.

Was a bit disappointed by Marshalls very superficial take on the position of traditional priestly societies which are vulnerable and are subject to vows of obedience.

Too fatigued to say much. But here is my latest: Any comments on the developments since this video came out? Stephen - only seeing this now. And so pressed for time right now, I will just paste in a response I gave at the channel to a very similar question from a man who said: What I wrote back to him does seem quite appropos to what I would say to you ... I will just stress: I am very concerned with the issue of "what is legitimate to say in public."

Leaving my latest video here, which is flawed, embarrassing and yet my favourite of all, I think.
Not the best, but the one closest to my heart.
In the comments, I will add, is an unusually long response of mine to Mal here.
I mention this in a both a shameless bid for attention ; - ) . . .
But also because the point-counterpoint between Mal and me goes to the very core of all I am feeling about Ireland.
I shall just gnomically say here - and this is certainly not just to you Mal (as should be obvious) that in my time meeting Irish conservatives over the years now, I see those concerned with the supposed Judaisation of Ireland, the Islamicisation of Ireland, the Brussels-isation of Ireland …
But what truly concerns me most is the GAFA-isation of Ireland as intimated in the video; the Political Correctness coming out of the American universities above all; and the also New Age-isation of those who are spiritually minded in Ireland … which amounts to another form of Anglo-Americanisation.
A subtle form of Anglo-Americanisation that few seem to see, IMHO.
Another Gnomic Statement: It is no accident that NATO is headquartered in Brussels . . .
Anyway here is my favourite video of all. I don't imagine I shall ever again express my real self, warts and all, as well I do in this video.
And the present image is myself 14 years ago. Video has embarrassing footage of me then. Looking stoned. (I'm not! Always hated dope.)

I suppose I should specify (although I realize you weren't addressing me in particular, Roger) that I am personally worried about all homogenization and erosion of national identity, whatever the origin. At this stage it seems to be a general internationalization rather than any particular culture imposing, although Anglo-American culture happens to be the one in the ascendant and closest to us.

Rogerbuck what is the "supposed Judaisation of Ireland"? This is a genuine query.

This is a genuine query. That was maybe sloppy of me, Cato. But what I meant by "supposed Judaisation" refers to a particularly American form of antisemitism I have seen imported into Ireland —whereby certain strands of the American right look at things like Marxism, the Frankfurt School, Jewish figures in Hollywood and I know not what and blame the entire Jewish people for the cultural decadence of the West. I've seen this American analysis of Jewish cultural influence uncritically embraced in Ireland so that Ireland's cultural decadence is likewise blamed. An embarrassing - and surreal! - memory surfaces of visiting Cork with a German friend and an apparently demented Irish woman seemed to think that because I was a traditionalist, my German friend would be too (he was actually very Left) and she begins babbling as though he would be sympathetic to Hitler . . . ! Believe it or not . . . Needless to say, it left an appalling impression of Irish Trads on my German friend. She admittedly appeared round the bend, but I've met far more intelligent and good Irish people, who are uncritically absorbing this American narrative about the "Judaisation" of America and applying it to Ireland.

It is 6.30 am Sunday morning. Have worked all night editing my latest video to go up later today. Thank God, this isn't servile work. Too bleary to know why I'm writing that or what to say, but here is a minute and a half trailer for the video I'm editing ...

Sorry about tired incoherency of those last posts.
Exhaustive 3 hour video - at least it has exhausted me ; - ) - is now here.
With everything from Catholic Zombies to Bob Geldof, recent referenda in Ireland, TLM, the Legion of Mary, Pearse, Dev, 1916, Belloc, GAFA and the Post-Protestant Liberal and Capitalist ethos thrown in besides.
May Catholic Zombies arise in Ireland, as in France!

All right . . . I post a video I almost don't want to post here. Partly because I doubt it's very interesting to most folk here and I almost want to suggest this is better skipped till the next one.
Which next one, I think, will interest some here. (Even though it also appears to be about Tomberg!)
To "explain" . . . I am doing these Tomberg videos, almost reluctantly, for a different audience than my usual videos.
It is an audience of vaguely "New Agey" people like I used to be, who have it so deeply, utterly ingrained in them that the Catholic Church is a passé, retrograde, anachronistic force in the world that they cannot hear Tomberg's call to the Church.
I feel a need to do these videos, because I believe these vaguely "New Agey" types out there need to hear Tomberg was actually Catholic and actually calling people to the Church . . . (Shock! Horror! Who would have thought it?! Even though he says it again and again and again … )
But I don't think anyone at this good forum needs to hear this!
Anyway, here it is. Be warned it is filled with ideas and language these people can relate to, but maybe others can't so well.
"When in Rome, do as the Romans do" to quote the words popularly attributed to St. Ambrose or St. Augustine . . .
When speaking to Anthroposophists, a different language is needed . . .
That said, I wish to repeat that my next huge four hour video, apparently all about Tomberg, is actually aimed towards both of my audiences . . . which is a tough thing to do.
I do hope some here will like the upcoming monster four hour video, which also continues recent themes relating at least in part to Ireland and France.
