"one-time Captain Blunt was actually involved in a dramatic standoff with Russian troops in Kosovo in 1999 after the latter occupied Pristina airport ahead of NATO forces. The singer has since recalled refusing an order from American NATO commander General Wesley Clark who Blunt maintains told him and his men to 'overpower' the Russians" cf international express 2feb'22
Back to the same standoff in Eastern Europe in 2022,but refreshing that the singer is taking the use of his and Barry Manilow's music on loudspeakers by New Zealand police to disperse similarly disobedient Canada-inspired anti-restrictions protesters with a grain of salt.
I was in a discount store with someone once- the music service somehow dragged Marilyn out of the archives- my friend was forced to leave;he insisted that Calling Your Name was making him feel seriously unwell. Not sure myself what you expect to accompany $1 storage boxes.
It might have been a long time since Manilow was the hottest thing north of Havana, but it would be a revealing exercise if people admitted what songs would force them to disperse...I know my father finds Brian Kennedy's Tar a Rún hard to take, techno or Spicegirls comes to mind for me but I don't really know which individual titles.

I find "I kissed a girl and I liked it" by Katy Perry very annoying.
I mean, so did I, but I don't go on about it.
"I Believe I Can Fly" is so saccharine that it makes me nauseous.
There was a very annoying song that would regularly play in Supervalu but I can't remember it.
Edit later: I remember it now. It's "Let her Go" by Passenger. The way the singer sings seems very affected.
I also get irritated by "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen and "Galway Girl" by whatever foul fiend wrote it.
To be a bit more positive, and since you mentioned Brian Kennedy, I really like his "Life, Love and Happiness".

From hottest north of Havana to coolest South of Georgia, these lads came off with an unusual line describing the lady that the song crawls around: "listening to those Barry Manilow records, was just 1 of her character flaws" youtu.be/3eAEAGxC6H4Otherwise I must refrain of refeeding my own grumpiness after several days of disastrous FB engagement. Only Sound of Silence tonight.
