What are some traditional ways of life, or elements of culture, in individual European countries that we might do well to adapt to Ireland.
Hyyge from the Danes for example.

From Sweden: Taking regular long walks, alone or in pair, in the countryside and woods? Sauna (handbuilt by yourself or preferably by a Finnish carpenter) from Finland!

I've never understood why women should be expected to shave their armpits.
Restricted trading hours would be nice. I know someone who regularly holidays in France and says that the town where he goes shuts down for lunch, everyone sits outside and eats together.
Any attempt to bring in kissing on both cheeks should be resisted with force of arms.

We've a strange relationship with food in this country.

Out door dining is something I love and was in favour of prior to the Covid hysteria. And no I don't mean in the depths of a dreary freezing wet January.
Proper coffee is a great blessing as is affordable good wine. The price of ours is scandalously high thanks to Irish government taxes.

Polish in Ireland seem to be less prone to lose the run of themselves with ostentatious displays of wealth. I could be wrong but maybe there's still a healthy sense of the tragic in that culture
