Everybody knows that conservatives are angry, hate-filled, insecure, fearful, and wretched. At least, that description fits me to a tee.
However, I imagine that even reactionaries have their happier side, and activities or states that fill them with joy or pleasure.
What makes you happy, aside from denouncing SJWs?
I think everybody would say, "Being with my loved ones and friends".
Here's a list of other things that make me happy:
Snow The cinema The sound of voices in the air The sound of two people having a conversation about something that really interests them and about which they are knowledgeable A cold, crisp morning Traditions of every kind
There are many more, of course.

I am going to give you a list of things that come to mind. Most of the below are improved with Family and friends except 10. 1) Trying new Food for the first time and being surprised. A memory of eating snapper wrapped in banana leaves in Vietnam comes to mind. It still makes me salivate. 2) This May sound strange to people as I am a lay Man, but I love Liturgy. All Catholic Liturgies, I love learning about the smallest details about the liturgy such as a Priest removing his vestments during his sermon to show that he is moving from the sacred to the profane. If I am allowed to aid the Liturgy, this is a cherry on the top. 3) The feeling when the opening credits appear for a block buster in the cinema. 4) Most Traditions. In Monaghan, it is tradition to put blessed straw at Christmas over doors, this is left for the year. 5) Making thing from scratch with my hands and then looking with pride at my creation. 6) Cocktail sausages at parties 7) A good Fantasy Novel. Such as Lord of the Rings, Temeraire, Emperor. 8) Driving a car and listening to music on a sunny day with AC. 9) Getting dressed in the Sunday best for a Special event such as a wedding. 10) Making more conservatives who are angry, hate-filled, insecure, fearful, and wretched. 11) Swimming in a rain storm. 12) Watching incense drifting from a Thurible during mass. It always makes me imagine the countless blessing and prayers offered at Mass. 13) Architecture. (That is a thread that needs to be created) 14) Walking in the countryside and mountains (God is indeed in the high places Alan). I love watching animals in the countryside, spring lambs are one of my favourites to watch.

Leaving aside friends and family (that sounds a little cold, but to get into the sources of happiness from within family and friends would involve a truly long essay - how to even communicate the happiness of fatherhood, better yet the joy of it ...), what makes me happy:
1) Climbing in Ireland's uplands (we don't really have mountains). The solitude one finds at the peaks is rather wonderful - God is indeed in the high places. The struggle to get there, sometimes in the teeth of opposition from the elements, makes the achievement of it all the more satisfying. I particularly love climbing alone and to camp alone in the wild places. The risk that comes with that is a significant driver of the happiness I get from it. 2) Scouts! I'm a Scout Leader and derive quite lot of happiness from working with young people and seeing them flourish, particularly within the context of Scouting which strips away much of the modern world's concern to overly-protect the young from risk. 3) Related to that: camping. The privation of it is something from which I derive a lot of happiness. 4") In contrast: I love a good meal, served in a civilised fashion, in a comfortable setting. I particularly appreciate a good waitress or waiter. I love dining with others, but also love dining alone. 5) Reading - that is all. 6) The clear, crisp air of a cold, dry winter day. 7) To sit still with eyes closed and to feel the heat of sun. 8) Driving on back roads with music playing. 9) To sing in a choir, to feel the harmony of the voices around you, working in unison, to produce beauty.
That's all for now!

I can particularly identify with 3) on Stephen's list, though in my case it is more the studio logo at the start that gives me the shivers, rather than the credits.
And of course 6) on Alan's list. Nothing makes me happier than a gleaming white sky.... (And indeed, "The clear, crisp air of a cold, dry winter day" is a particularly poetic way of putting it...

Laughter
Smells of peat , wood fires fresh cut grass , sea breezes , the smell of incense in a church after a funeral, cigar smoke
Serendipity in a second hand book shop
Alcohol
Bird watching
Spending time with a famous painting in a deserted gallery
Sleeping children
Polyphony
Evening silence beside a lake
Pay day.
A first kiss
The roar of a low flying vintage fighter plane
The feel of fresh white sheets
Dogs
Getting a personal letter from a friend
Listening to rain pelting against the window while warm in bed
Sleeping
People agreeing with me.

These are all great lists - I will add only a couple:
Baby goats, donkeys, and lambs in fields
The "TRUMP - Make America Great Again" bumper sticker I saw last week on an old car with Kerry plates being driven by a young man who looked to be in his early 20s.
Helping others with $$$ without them asking. The more I give away in honour of Jesus's instructions, the less I have to spend, and the more I appreciate the types of things others have listed above.

Here's something pretty specific. I work in a university library. Several times a day I feel a surge of delight at all the books that are on the shelves about different things, many deliciously specific. I just felt it earlier today-- I was doing some work on the film section and I came across a book about adaptations of Romeo and Juliet to film. A whole book! It delights me that there is a whole book about that, that somebody could afford to dedicate their lives to it for a certain amount of time, someone was willing to publish it, and people will read it and study it. That seems like a vindication of society.
Yes, there is an awful lot of feminist, post-colonialist, equality studies claptrap on the shelves-- but there's also lots of good books. (And even the feminist etc. stuff has its moments.)
Book and film titles also make me happy (and even excited). For instance, a book about monster movies called "The Haunted Screen". One of my favourites is a collection of Graham Greene's film reviews entitled Mornings in the Dark. (Right now books about film are suggesting themselves to me, but there are any number of other examples).

I forgot one of my greatest sources of happiness - always voting NO in referenda.

I forgot one of my greatest sources of happiness - always voting NO in referenda. I've been making a habit of that one myself.
