St Kevins Church in Dublin is reacting creatively to the Coronavirus and the limits on crowds over 100. It is organising 3 Latin Masses each limited to 100 people at 9, 10 and 11 am tomorrow and on St Patricks day. Each Mass should be attended according to your surname 9am for A to I 10am for H to O etc.
There will be no distribution of communion which eliminates the risk of contamination and the ban on communion on the tongue imposed by the bishops. Contrary to what some traddies claim you can get contamination from a host . Transubstantition doesn't protect people from germs or viruses. The chances of contamination are probably tiny however but the powers that be won't be listening to logic in the current climate.
I wonder what the Society of St Pius x churches are doing?
