Posting the most heartfelt and touching version I have ever heard. Most appropriate for Holy Week yet for the time being also here and now during Lenten days. Found this video several years back and keep revisit it. Wish you all a blessed and serene preparation for Easter!

I have never heard this before. Very lovely. Glad to hear you like it Antaine! During these Lenten days darkened by strong fears, preparing for better days in the shadow of this tragic Global pandemic, a song with its lyrics from a Carmelite saint can hopefully make one remember a brighter horizon in the 'vale of tears'.

Couldn´t find first any proper thread for this poem so now it comes here, as the latest one near that was least a little linked and initially also intended towards the silent week ahead.
The poem is written by lady Ann Murray, resident of Belfast and a devout conveyer of hope in her many beautiful story-like "open" approaches to words and - the Word
Prayers for all during the days ahead,
Best wishes for blessings:
Good Friday
A storm Of dying One greater than all of us Nailed to a rustic rood
Head crowned With starry briars Torturous and crude
A kingdom mocked, Spat upon, Lanced through
Till water pours Upon the darkened hour A priestly dew That meets the beads of mercy.
