Well said KJ.
I find this woman to be an immensely annoying arrogant snake oil merchant. I have come across several in my life most have been white Irish men. I know a few women too who have cruised along their careers spreading untruths and chaos before they move onto a newer and more higher paid position. Obtaining more and more influence, power and money naturally seems to be their motivating drives.
I cannot imagine an Irish white academic achieving such public standing in modern Nigeria. Perhaps some of our more talented missionaries did in the past. Her intellectual message is cheap trash that only our pathetic bankrupt generation would pay more than a moment's attention to.
At times I wonder is she an affliction imposed on us as penance for the sins of Irish missionaries ?

She is some sort of Sociologist, no?
I have a real animus toward that subject. It is in essence Applied Marxism and attracts fairly mediocre intellects who love pushing notions of egalitarianism and social utopia, all the while enjoying the privileged perks of an academic career.

Yes it's a fake makey up subject. I had the misfortune to spend a year studying it as an Arts under graduate many moons ago. It had and has a strong Marxist bias. How that can be viewed as a useful objective prism to study social phenomena is beyond me.
