There was a treasure trove with loads of personal conversion stories online somewhere. I even recall once reading Maolsheachlann on reconversion there, yet cannot find the source some ten years later. Regarding such stories in general, what would be the best question to try answering? Real crucial questions, such ones as could make a whole chapter in a book? I am pondering many threads on writing ideas and am intrested to find wide strikes in terms of subject matter. Not necessarily on conversion per se, but anything relating to christian life (anything ought to have SOME connexion). Here´s one non-controversial fairly recent conversion, concentrating mostly on the actual turning point some 15 years back, from a friend´s blog: hojercrux.wordpress.com/2021/08/23/ever-closer-to-our-god-how-i-crossed-the-tiber/?fbclid=IwAR1HlHyLXfm5pciI93yyumiL8RGtZgz6v1T_x25jJP9gAo7gBBk_J9EuUXA#more-367

Here is the website. It was inactive a long time but I see that it was recently acquired by Word on Fire ministries. whyimcatholic.com/As for things to write about, the possibility of miracles was something that really challenged me as an agnostic.

What a horrible story about Fr. Maciel. I hope he was delerious and his judgement impaired when it happened.
