how is it similar to and different from belief. Are we born with a temperament either conducive or not condusive to faith

I think faith is more of a settled view than belief. There's an element of deliberation to it. To me, a good analogy is a person who's afraid of flying having faith (based on experience and knowledge) that the airplane is most likely not going to crash or plunge out of the sky. He can't be completely sure, and if he's a nervous flyer his imagination may be screaming at him that it's definitely going to happen. But his intellect tells him to have faith.

how is it similar to and different from belief. Are we born with a temperament either conducive or not condusive to faith I think (or believe) it has a lot to do with the will. Every temperament can decide to and find faith.
