Islam is more of a threat to the Jews of Europe than a million Kevin Myers quotes, lets not kid ourselves, KJ, what with all the cultural enrichment they bring along with their tolerated hatemongering. The man F'd up, but it is not worth firing him over. In fact if anything, this fiasco is indicative of how barmy our society is that anyone can get fired over what they say or write, however tongue in cheek, rather than oh I don't know, getting kicked out of the country for preaching violent jihad and actual, no-nonsense Jew hatred.
This is all kabuki theatre to draw attention away from the real problems involved: the cushy, well paid liberal overlords who rule our nationalised media and news corporations and twist our perceptions to wicked ends and cover up real evils for the sake of political expediency, and actual violent antisemitism rising in Europe as a result of importation of millions of Muslims causing a massive flight of European Jewry to Israel as they no longer feel safe in Europe. But oh no, ignore all of that and pretend its native Europeans like Kevin Myers fuelling antisemitism and harangue the man like the sacrificial lamb he is, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
(I will admit however, somewhat confusedly, there DOES legitimately seem to be a surprisingly high level of antisemitism in some of the left wing in Europe, I have never been able to figure out why. I know that some actual neo-nazis on the internet seem to suspect Jeremy Corbyn of the Labour party might actually be genuinely antisemitic, which is about as damning an indictment on the matter as can be had)
