I'm living in Australia and hadn't heard about Israel Folau's comment until I read it here. Rugby is very much second-fiddle to Aussie football in our state, but I am quite certain a pro-same sex comment would have been well broadcasted. Of course he comes from a Tongan background- as I've said, the immense number of immigrants in Australia make any vote unpredictable |

Maybe the Revolution and its advocates are now about to speed up their intentions. If the younger generations are simply unaware of the needs for opposition, critical debate and diversity (real as against the fakish phrase version) while the ruling generation are still planning to set most areas under absolutist control, not least via secretive business and digital powers to be, then no much Counter-Revolution could be expected? Neither in cultural politics nor economy. The Liberal-Left coalitions are at this juncture perhaps only wearing out the few "dangerous" remaining voices in slow decline, before opening up to the "new" order in appropriate fashion. If people will not even be allowed to free speech the rest of the hopefulness might simply be receding with the times.

I don't doubt there will be an eventual counter revolution. I seriously doubt we will ever see it. Our decadent , high welfare , low(esh) tax , non reproducing society is dying.
The popular and much of high culture is dominated virtually entirely by those who subscribe to non traditional views often radically progressive visions. Education especially third level is almost entirely in the hands of woke barbarians. Politically conservatives haven't rolled back much in recent decades or even held the line.
A reaction may also be a Godless alt right pagan racist version which will be hideous. Any return to Christian Civilisation will depend on divine intervention given the rot in most current churches. Banishing God from public life is costing us dearly .
