RTE had a report yesterday that Irish MEPs are the most politically ineffective in Europe apart from Luxemburg and Cyprus.
Mind you the European Parliament is as powerful as the Leitrim County council's space programme.
Big problems for us in Ireland are being ignored like who do we align with when the Brits regain their independence.
Already the French and Germans want to remove our veto on financial and tax powers.
