What do people think of what is happening to steve bannon at the moment? Is it a stitch up or just bad tactics on his part.

I certainly don't think it's a stitch-up job. Like many I thought the Trump-Bannon combo was genuine and had a chance of doing great things. In retrospect, I think this was naive of me. I admire Trump's presidency, but I think it's fair to say that he cannot be an easy man to work with and hates having anyone take the limelight. Each man used the other to further their own agendas, but I think it plausible that Bannon was somewhat reckless with his public pronouncements over the past few weeks. According to the Washington Post, he is currently comparing his fate to that of Thomas Cromwell, a figure he identified with all along. In which case, this seems a rather good prophecy in retrospect: nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/02/what-it-means-that-bannon-sees-himself-as-thomas-cromwell.html
