On the bus this afternoon I saw a poster with the following slogan;
They trust us .
We take them from their mothers.
We slaughter them.
No doubt the Green party will seek to ban this simplification of a very personal and sensitive decision.
The poster is for Veganism needless to say.

I'm completely pro-choice when it comes to sausages and burgers.
Levity aside, I do respect vegetarians (though I find it hard to comprehend veganism).

The vegan cause seems to be capturing many idealistic young people who in times gone by presumably would have given their lives to God. The great totalitarian movements of the 20th century in Russia Germany Italy and Maoist China all had their Youth cult movements brainwashing the young and turning them against their families and tradition.
It is wrong to demonise any age group or to view it as somehow uniquely pure or virtuous but our age seems to worship at the altar of those with no experience of life and little knowledge of the evil that has gone before it.
