The show "Bannon's War" will be televised tonight (1 June) at 10:15 pm on RTE1. Steve Bannon is a great man, as can be seen in his speeches available on Youtube. It will be interesting to see how RTE portrays this Irish-American hero.

Thanks, I intend to record it. The show was disappointing - no analysis of what Bannon actually believes and what his policies are, and the reasons why Trump's platform resonated with the American voter. Not a single mention of America's homeless and sick veterans and corrupt VA (while the US sends billions overseas), mass American unemployment (while the US sends billions overseas), the destructive effects of NAFTA and TPP, the systematic attack on religious freedom, a demoralised and gutted police force and military (while the US sends billions overseas), American inner city war zones, or millions of Americans broke and hopeless (while the US sends billions overseas). Leftist filmmakers such as "Frontline" live in upper-middle class limousine liberal bubbles and simply don't see what ordinary Americans on the ground see, nor do they care.

I did watch a bit of it as it was broadcast-- only a few minutes. I had no idea that Bannon was involved with Sarah Palin.

I don't have a TV and I can't access this in the North through RTE online. If anyone has any idea how I could see this, I would be _particularly_ grateful. I am very interested both in the subject and in how RTE treats it.

It seemed to be an imported documentary rather than an RTE documentary.
I'm about half-way through my recording of it, and I'm also quite disappointed. One thing that disappoints me is that various talking heads TELL us what Bannon said in his documentaries (liberally throwing in terms such as "lurid" and "apocalyptic"), but they don't actually let us HEAR any of the narration-- or so little of it that I missed it. That's highly suspicious! All the same, it's very interesting.

Just finished watching the first episode . Yes it is biased against Bannon but it is an improvement on what passes for commentary in Ireland. Mind you that's not setting the bar very high. He has had quite an interesting varied career and his films look like something worth watching. His shock and awe tactics caught my attention as well as tensions between him and President Trump.Well worth a watch in my opinion.

Any opinions on Bannon's current falling out the Donald? Apparently he has lost his mind according to the President.

Very disappointed in Bannon. He said he was going to fight for the President's agenda outside the White House, and then...this.
Surely he sees Trump is the greatest enemy of globalism going. No matter what his frustrations, he should support him. He won't get a better champion for his cause.
