It's hard to see them being successful because the Irish party system isn't very amenable to new parties.
The PD's were probably the most successful party outside the two-and-a-half party system and even they disappeared.
If all Irish pro-life voters voted for them, then they would do well. But pro-life voters don't seem to have any desire to leave the traditional party system, either.
I would like to see them succeed and I would vote them, but I don't think they will.

They have one local government representative but no TDs at present. They will be entitled to tax payer funding at the next election based on their vote at the last election. I would like to support them but I agree with the opinion of Maolsheachlann above as to their prospects.

Renua Ireland are the only pro life party supporting the defence of the right of unborn Irish babies to be free from deliberate destruction before birth.
Many Fine Gael TDs including the Taoiseach, the tanaiste and foreign affairs minister, the minister for health and the justice minister were elected in the last election as pro lifers. Similarly the leader of Fianna Fail is someone who has "journeyed" and has abandoned his previous view that human life is precious and deserves full legal and constitutional protection. We did NOT give these TDs a mandate to provide one of Europe's most liberal abortion regimes quite the contrary .
Fianna Fail did reject motions to advocate Repeal at its' Ard Fheis but its' leader Micheal Martin and members of the liberal wing choose to ignore this and divide the only large bloc of pro life political opinion. His appeal to conscience is I believe almost entirely cynical and is an attempt to chase the urban liberal vote. Why o why will no one attempt to chase a pro life bloc of what at worst will probably be a 40% + of the electorate ? Fine Gael is currently polling "well" at 33%.
If the US Republican party can declare itself as pro life then why can't a mainstream Irish one? Whoops I forgot the Irish media and political establishment to a woman worship slavishly at the shrine of Hilary Clinton and her shattered dreams.

Iona Institute seems to think that as many as two-thirds of Fianna Fail TDs and senators are in favour of NO. Hopefully that's more representative of the people. I read something only recently about the communist-sympathizer Francis Chamberlain, secretary of the pre-60s Australian Labour Party who did a great job rolling back the influence of Catholicism within the what had been the Church's preferred Party. It's been long time in Australia since Catholics could realistically prefer any of the mainstream parties, even if good individuals continued here and there in most camps

I was on a top secret trip to Cork over the last few days. To my great surprise I encountered the Renua van on Grand Parade today with the party logo and leader's name which I have forgotten. Despite gaining no Dail seats the party did get state funding based on their vote last time out which probably paid for the eye catching van.
