Does any know what's going on with this "movement" which counter protested the Gemma O Doherty demonstration outside Google in Dublin today.
Gemma as we all know is a hate filled card carrying Nazi with an SS uniform in her wardrobe at home. According to what little information I could glean from the internet Racist marches are being organised by the Irish far right to object to foreign emigration. The RTE story seems to have censored 90% of the actual details about what is going on. Can anyone fill in the gaps?

Gemma has been censored by Google who own YouTube in recent weeks which makes it difficult to know what is going on. I believe most of her videos have been removed from Youtube even those which have nothing to do with her criticisms of mass immigration.
The fabulously wealthy Globalist oligarchs that control our media show their contempt for free speech when it upsets their highly sensitive feelings. This is if course is no surprise to those who remember the one sided media censorship of pro life ads during the Repeal referendum.
Future generations may be surprised that during that "debate" there was no discussion of the techniques that were going to be legalised. Certainly we weren't shown an abortion procedure on TV. No one was told they would be forced to pay for free abortion via their taxes nor were they told the right to freely protest would be restricted. The enemies of freedom are more powerful than ever. They are in full open view and are blatantly corrupting our democracy.
The Sunday Times had an article on the Anti Hate Rally March which clashed with Emma's March outside Google HQ. I 'll post on it tomorrow.

I binned my Sunday Times inadvertently yesterday as I attempted to tidy my living room. It is now lying at the bottom of a green bin.
Which brings me into Councillor Hazel Chu who seems to have organised the Anti Hate March on Saturday. Hazel is a newly elected Green councillor born in Ireland of Chinese parents in the 1970s. She wants Google to censor hate speech against her and also against those who criticise foreign immigration. She has been attacked on line mainly from abroad according to her.
I am loath to censor anyone save those who advocate criminality or violence. Censorship shuts down the right to express your own voice be that intelligent , wise or lazy and downright stupid and nasty. There are two sides to the coin that is free speech.
The term hate speech is straight from the dictionary of those who throw the term Fascist around willy nilly like cheap snuff at a well oiled wake. "Fascist" now means things I don't like or that upset my tender highly sensitive emotions . It's the woke word for Heretic. Hate speech is a strange breed of creature. In normal life it is a serious moral flaw and vice. Whether a sin should be a crime is another matter. Once apon a time it was the right that wanted to criminalise vice
At the Google HQ Hazel's supporters numbering 100 clashed verbally with around 30 Irish flag carrying Gemma O Doherty supporters. This may be a gut thing or it may be hate speech but when it comes to backing a group of mainly white lefty social justice types shouting down a group of Irish patriots my sympathies are with the flag wavers.
There are some confused videos on YouTube covering this protest. That's until Google tells us we can't watch them.

Ryan Tubridy had Hazel Chu on his programme yesterday morning. In fairness to Hazel, there was a vacancy for a city councillor and she went for it and got it. I think she said she has a "tiger mother" - they are obviously ambitious and hard working.
Ryan had a bit of angst at the start about whether they should even discuss the protests. He obviously sees himself as a gatekeeper protecting the listener from anything they shouldn't hear. I don't think Hazel mentioned any Green initiatives or anything like that and I was thinking afterwards it would have been a good opportunity for Ryan to ask her about Hong Kong and what's going on there but unfortunately the interview was all about hate speech and racism. She had got some phone calls with heavy breathing. That must have been unpleasant but I'm sure most politicians get some sort of abuse.
I think most Irish people are welcoming and concerned for the immigrants in their communities.
It's frustrating to think that Ryan's paid around €400k p.a. His producer seems to be not too long out of UCD SU politics. Ryan said "we must come back to this - I think we'll do a Late Late show on it" Can you imagine what that'll be like?

I am all for showing respect but the conspicuous tiptoing around certain sensitive hot topics by our RTE guardians is really utterly condescending . When you consider how the same station helped demolish a conservative catholic culture it seems iconoclasm and fearless reporting has been quietly retired. Why can't listeners be asked about her political views which are much more important than her ethnic origin? Even better why couldn't RTE have organised a debate with her and Gemma O Doherty to explain what is going on? No mainstream media seem willing to go near this.

I'm totally opposed to the concept of "hate speech", which seems to justify the suppression of free speech by the claim that words lead to violence-- something liberals have been denying for decades when it comes to violent entertainment and computer games. Hate speech IS free speech. I think we need to be clear on that. Of course, most of what is called "hate speech" is not hatred at all-- simply disagreement.

In this video, Hazel Wu says she has no problem being criticized "as long as people bring facts". But, of course, virtually all facts are disputed in political debate, so that still leaves you leeway to demand your opponent's free speech is suppressed.

But, of course, virtually all facts are disputed in political debate, so that still leaves you leeway to demand your opponent's free speech is suppressed. It is somewhat ironic that Hazel' s parents are , I presume and am open to correction, from that bastion of openness and were there is only one form of speech the state permitted version: the Peoples Republic of China. In relation to facts Brid Smith TD was literally rendered speechless on Prime Time on a discussion on Donal Trump's Irish visit when a law lecturer from Maynooth asked her if she was aware of Chinese human rights violations and did she protest about them. She looked as if the question was plainly ridiculous. The cowardly Irish media do pander by and large to a malevolent political movement that seeks to destroy free enquiry and open debate. They are now the police men who patrol our public discourse and decide who to exclude , shut up or to render unemployable. When you listen to some of Jordan Peterson's critiques of the social justice warrior phenomena and then look around the local media in Ireland you realise he is correct and they are seeking to slowly crush all ideological opposition.

Joe Duffy's Liveline programme yesterday was about Scientology - people had seen their stands at agricultural shows etc around the country. They don't advertise the Scientology name but someone had seen their van at the back of the stand and was warning people off. I wasn't sure whether RTE would have a problem with Scientology now but it was still seen as a bad thing. Just one person rang in to say "if people want to go off and join them then why shouldn't they?"
Joe referred back to a Late Late Show that Gay Byrne did in the '90s I think, and played a good bit of it. There was a proper debate with lots of shouting in the audience and even Joe seemed to sigh and said "that was a great debate".
It's hard to believe but not so long ago radio time was precious and the presenter always wanted to fill any pauses with valuable material. Advertisers I suppose were listening and wanting value for money.
The way the cult was described made me think of RTE.

Gemma has now got in trouble for suggesting that one should burn a hijab or a burqa.
Silly, silly. She immediately opened herself up for the accusation that she was encouraging crimes against Muslims.
Obviously she didn't mean that, but in all honesty, I think encouraging the burning of religious garments is not something we should be doing anyway. I don't think we should be seeking conflict with Muslims. We shouldn't be naive about Islam, but I don't see what purpose all the confrontational rhetoric ("savages", etc.) serves.

This was a stupid thing for Gemma O Doherty to say. We do not need to be mindlessly provocative in order to stand up for our identity and for freedom. The SJW people like to portray the right as haters. Although this is nonsense in most cases pointless silly throw away remarks like the above simply provide ammo to the left to vilify all who oppose them.

With all due respect to Gemma and her determination to fight Corporate Ireland, I have the feeling she is a little impressionable on the intellectual front. She interviewed a fellow a while back who peddles barely suppressed anti-semitism and she seemed to be willing to swallow it. I guess that once again it's a sign of the lack of any serious intellectual conservatives in Irish life. It's a shame Desmond Fennell isn't twenty years younger; he'd revel in this fight.

Former conservative ( yes once apon a time , before he journeyed, minister Flanagan was seen as an old fashioned law and order blueshirt) is launching a consultation before he imposes hate speech legislation on us to protect leftist causes and to shut every one else up. And waste Garda time prosecuting people who are controversial , unpleasant or simply thoughtless. Those things while annoying are not matters the law should be prosecuting.
Mote seriously hate speech shuts up those who dissent from state sponsered propaganda and who dare to speak the truth publically.
Minister Charlie got some egg in his face when it was revealed that a poster boy for the hate crime consultation Brandon Array, a Cameroon born Irish international athlete made some rather non pc and indeed racist comments in Twitter in his teens . What little media comment he received zoned in on sexist remarks but much more disturbing were these comments ; "Doesn't it hurt you when an African has more to give to Ireland than your grandparent ever gave and kids will ever give? Ireland will be multicultural in 10 years and your kids will have the same right as an immigrant. I can only laugh writing this because I know it's true".(Sunday Times p1 Nov 3 2019)
This man has spent around 2 decades in this country since childhood . Perhaps it was stupid bravado but I haven't heard any apology to date.
