Few days back longtime-profile editor Luke Coppen announced he is stepping down from his post, at the helm of what arguably had become one of the very best and wholesome news providers online. That news will most certainly be some tangible loss for its wide readership - i.e. English-speaking online communities around the globe! - (least in the nearest short-time) after "getting used to" having been served substantially both by varied reports and usually exemplary high standard.
Website continously updated by a huge well of articles maintained "accurate" for year after year. Journalism like it can be, conservative or not.
Hopefully the new head and staff will continue as well. Not the best of times for reflective articles to be heard through the current turbulence perhaps, even as nothing said to be impossible anytime!?
Best wishes also due to the competitor that got his ear and interest to leave, as one easily might suppose that would have been for nothing lesser than yet another top publishing adventure somewhere. Maybe there will soon appear another likewise fine news desk on that same web, and actual and relevant just like the first.
