What is it with this guy, or gal? Why does this Vietnamese spammer have such a determination to spam this forum?
Sir or madam, if you have anything other than spam to contribute, you are most welcome. But I'm just going to keep deleting the spam, though I half admire your persistence at this stage.

Maybe. I wonder why it targets this forum particularly?

We had the Russians awhile back. Now it's the Vietnamese gambling sites. They are popping up almost on a daily basis recently. No doubt the Chinese are on the way......

A thread on Melancholia attracted quite a lot of spam I recall . There might be some sort of word activated system but Melancholia is hardly a commonly used term anymore.

Was it at least funny spam?
I remember I did admin work on a site before, and the spam was pretty amusing because the bots would try to make one-line stories. It's a shame I can't really remember them now, because there were some truly amazing tales in the collection. But I do recall one about people sneaking out of the scary crypt and having a dance party at the shopping mall.

The ones I have deleted tend to be gambling ads mainly along with certain medical treatments for gentlemen.

Sadly it's all just casino stuff.
Some of the emails in my spam folder can have rather poetic subject lines, or at least used to a few years back. Poetic in the sense of being unexpected juxtapositions of words, a la Dylan Thomas.
