I never manage to keep up properly with mainstream Irish politics - probably because they're so utterly uninspiring. But I'm alway curious about the grassroots in FF and if, just possibly, anything interesting might emerge there. This article on FF had, for me, some interesting things in it. medium.com/@cabratribune/the-curious-case-of-fianna-fáil-the-partys-past-present-and-future-e6dc895b6b5But ignorant as I am, I would be very interested to know what the more knowledgeable here on FF think. Pulling some bits out, with bolding from me: What does the last really mean? Anyone know? TradCath wunderkind??! Any elucidation would be most appreciated! Also any thoughts appreciated on Ó Cuív and O'Callaghan, even though the latter sounds dismally more of the same.

He can't be all that TradCath, which makes me wonder if the author knows what he's talking about.

He can't be all that TradCath, which makes me wonder if the author knows what he's talking about. Yes Maolsheachlann when it boiled downed to the crunch we could count the number of Fianna Fail pro life TDs literally on the fingers of one hand. Chambers apparently voted No in the referendum and publically urged a No vote but bowed to the infamous will of the people and voted to legislate for abortion in Dail Eireann. I forget what pathetic excuse he gave.
