Released after three nightmarish years, being denounced by many including officials and grimly put into prison for abuses never committed, April last year, his story (actually the whole world's interest in the wider view since it is important for eagerly needed focus on the whole morase in evil disease of these widespread and covered up real abuses on children and youth, most all of them never vindicated in public but only brushed away and met with money as compensation or simply told to get out of sight) has been met with rather curious utter silence and no visible measures of hunting the real criminals off the market and putting their threat where they belong outside the ranks. Discretion is a Catholic virtue for sure, and maybe it is only good he could tell the story from inside in printed book only. Yet it looks questionable to not take any interest. Would anyone have an idea btw of the chances such a book is ghostwritten or not? Content would be authorised in any case of course but the reason to but it may be higher if in own words.

I don't know if the book is ghostwritten but I'd be surprised if it was. Cardinal Pell had ample time in prison to write and he would be a well educated man who would have no trouble expressing himself. I'm glad he's free, even at such an advanced age, as I always liked what he had to say (obviously others didn't like him at all).
