I must do that the next time I get ambushed. If enough people did it , it might hit them financially and psychologically . Chugging is financially lucrative and it would be nice to upset the money trail that keeps the propaganda flowing.

Sometimes I stop and chat with them. I politely tell them that I used to support Amnesty but not any more since they have changed their policy on abortion. They usually don't engage. I guess they have been instructed to do. Their purpose is not to change your mind but to get your bank details. So as there is no point arguing with someone who is pro-life.

I once heard someone say that a person only becomes a chugger because they think they are good-looking.
I remember, in my twenties, writing something like this in my diary: "Two female Mormons came to the door. They were very pretty but I didn't speak to them. They were only interested in my soul."

As I was running past the chuggers outside Eason's last week to a late appointment I overheard a hipster male chugger argue with a young woman " perhaps you might not be so rigid if you were sexually assaulted"! I didn't hear what came before or her reply but I was aghast that this level of aggressive and totally inappropriate behaviour occurs so openly. Sexism seems to ok if the woman concerned has a problem with killing babies.

I'm just happy to hear she was arguing with him.

I'm just happy to hear she was arguing with him. I was looking at some of the photos on Twitter from Youth Defence's Galway Roadshow today. It's great to see males and females working shoulder to shoulder on the Save the 8th campaign. The Leftist limousine liberals must be short-circuiting, just like they did when they saw the sea of pink "Women for Trump" signs at the Trump Rallies. "Divide and conquer" is one of the devil's favourite and most deadly tools.

Rte radio ran a documentary on Iceland's abortion laws yesterday - Polar opposites. Iceland was the first western country to introduce liberal abortion laws in 1935.
It is worth listening to as it presents both sides fairly . It features an Irish priest originally from Cork who runs a small pro life group. It also describes abortion techniques used in hospitals something I have never heard in discussions around the recent legislation in Ireland. It carried a warning about listener discretion. I wonder was it to do with the subject in general or the pro life views expressed? It's available on rte radio documentaries.

Adverising standards commission in Northern Ireland rejected complaints today against a pro life campaign which claimed Northern Ireland's restrictions on abortion have saved 100 000 lives since legalisation in the Uk in 1967. The commission examined the evidence presented by the both lives matter campaign and said the evidence presented added up. I doubt this will be given much publicity south of the border.

To mark the 34th anniversary of the passing of the 8th ammendment children's minister Catherine Zappone gave a chilling speech demanding full reproductive rights in Wexford at the J F Kennedy summer school. The egotism and zealotry of Zappone is noteworthy. See the Irish Independent webpage for details.

Indeed I heard one of the counter-demonstrators at the Rally for Life on Saturday shouting: "You're a MAN!" at one older gentleman who was arguing with them, as though that invalidated everything he said. Maybe some of the men should go in dresses? As we know anyone wearing drag can claim to be any gender they like. I can imagine the anguish in some liberal circles

BBC Panorama tonight have revealed an estimated 14000 women in Britian have died from sepsis poisoning the cause of death in the Savita Halappanabar case. The UK has one of the most liberal abortion law regimes in the world. The Savita case was used to advocate for abortion as a life saving procedure in Ireland.

This is a sign of things to come. The pro abortionists are going to throw everything thing possible at this fight. They will shout scream and intimidate in every possible way. The pro life groups need to plan strategically a careful but vigorous approach to counter this attempt to silence dissent. If they get away with this then they'll keep doing it. Any ideas on an alternative venue? Shame on the cowards in the Aisling. Imagine if this had been opposition to a Gay wedding. Liberal hypocrisy at its vilest.

Speaking hypothetically, if I owned a hotel and what McChrystal describes took place, I, too, would cancel the event in the interests of public safety, not only of my staff but also of the hotel guests and conference attendees. This could end up backfiring hugely on those who engaged in some of the actions McChrystal describes.
